Bocios. Early 1st cent. BC. Bronze as. 17-25mm. 7.64g. Winged Mercury right, [BΩKIOC]./ Bowl on tripod left. traces of ΛOΓΓΟΣΤΑΛΗΤΩΝ. LT 2363. Incomplete flan, otherwise Very Fine. Copied from bronze coins of Massalia. SCARCE.                                                                 Was £75. Now only £50 

One of the few coins to carry a tribal name. Bocios means ‘mouth’, like French bouche.
