Chained Crocodile. 3rd issue, after 10 BC. Bronze dupondius. 24mm. 11.16g. Back-to-back heads, [IMP] DIVIF./ Crocodile right, chained to palm tree, [COL NEM]. LT 2778, RCV 1730, RIC 158, RPC 524.  Near VF, clear heads of Augustus and Agrippa.                           Was £75. Now only £50 

The chained crocodile refers to Rome’s conquest of Egypt in 30 BC and can still be seen in modern Nimes.
