Indian Head cast potin


The Leuci (‘bright ones’) were a Gallo-Belgic tribe between the Moselle and the Meuse in northeast France. Their capital was Tulum (modern Toul).


Indian Head. c.75-50 BC. Potin. 17-21mm. 5.61g. Head left, corded hair./ Boar right, cross below. LT−, BMC 412-24. Good VF, dark patina, bold boar.                                Was £120. Now only £85
