Minimum Masterpieces
These six silver minims were all minted for Verica ‘the high one’ (as in ‘His Highness’), king of the Regini and Atrebates, c.AD 10-40. In all 60 different minims were issued by rulers of the southern tribes, most of them classically inspired.
More than nine out of every ten British minims are likely to have been found on a temple site. Why is that?
