Influenced by the Dobunni and Atrebates, an unknown sub-tribe struck uninscribed gold and silver coins c.50-35 BC in East Wiltshire, centred on the Vale of Pewsey and bounded by the rivers Thames and Kennet.

Upavon Moon Head. c.50-35 BC. Silver unit. 10mm. 0.55g. Moon head right with pellet-nose and stalk lips, crescents for hair, cogwheel on chin./ Curvilinear horse left, with feather tail, large pellet boss above, rings around. ABC 2128, VA−, BMC 3013-17, S−. Gd VF, lightly toned silver, lovely head, bold horse. SCARCE. Was £175. Now only £150
