Bronze mount of stylised boar of strong Celtic style, with crescentic body and dorsal bristles indicated by incised decoration, late Iron Age, c.2nd/1st century BC, of ?Icenian origin. 66mm. 27.25g. Complete except for small break in boar’s-head terminal, otherwise VF, chestnut-brown patina. Rare design, without parallel in East Anglia. Ex Don Lee collection, reportedly found ‘Norfolk/Suffolk’.
